Biography

Eoghan Lehane is a Chartered Civil Engineer with more than 30 years experience. He holds a senior management position in the Engineering Department of the Commissioners of Irish Lights as Civil Engineering & Property Manager. He is responsible for the management of all civil engineering design, construction and maintenance activities within Irish Lights and for the management of policy in relation to property, heritage and preservation of structures.

About the lecture

The presentation is entitled “Commissioners of Irish Lights and Lighthouses of Ireland” and will provide information on the history and role of Irish Lights together with a pictorial tour of lighthouses around the Irish coast.
